My friend, Marz is in a group at U of I called Dance2xs, It's a really great dance group, and they are really good! Every semester, all of the groups from Midwest schools come and perform at Canopy Club, called Urbanite. Today was Urbanite, and I went to support Marz. Despite the fact that he wouldn't sell me a ticket for 2 weeks because he didn't think I could make it, I went anyways and I was even his special guest, so I got in for free. He did a great job dancing, I'm just bummed I didn't get to cheer him on at the front like I did last semester. I was on the second floor with some other friends who were nice enough to stay with me throughout the whole show so I wouldn't get lonely!
After Urbanite, we headed over to Armory where Relay for Life was taking place. As I mentioned earlier I am in the shadow program for AAA, Big Sib Lil Sib. Pretty much, we are in charge of making "families" within our club and have fun competitions. Our big event was coming up, Family Olympiad where we compete and play in active games. Furthermore, my own event was also coming up, Family Water Volleyball Tournament. At Relay for Life, we got together and planned our event and walked around the track, well in my case, crutched around the track. My friends went to Green Street and bought me One World pizza-Korean gogi pizza. I heard that it was really good from many people so my friends bought me some. Was it as good as I imagined? YES!! It was delicious! :) nothing better than eating pizza and planning out events with fun people!
